This course module applies the concepts and tools learned above to a specific problem: Developing a small model of fishing in space, integrating the management of natural resources and economic behaviors of fishers.

The students will progressively create an agent-based model in NetLogo that implements, and complements the framework proposed in

Moustakas, A., W. Silvert, A. Dimitris Manolakis, 2006, A spatially explicit learning model of migratory fish and fishers for evaluating closed areas, Ecological Modelling, 192, 245-258.
